Those of us who teach adults face a daunting task. We need to cover a vast amount of content with people who have limited time and lots of distractions. We are working with individuals who bring different sets of experiences and emotions to the topic at hand. A lot is riding on our success– how well leaders lead, workers work, and volunteers serve.
Chunk, Flip, Guide, Laugh began as a structure to think about how to create learning programs that respond to how people learn. It quickly expanded into a conversation about how to move people to action. With a focus on people serving our communities — nonprofits, philanthropy, and public agencies — Chunk Flip Guide Laugh draws on research from around the world on how people learn, make decisions, and change behavior. It reflects how individuals, organizations, and communities can invest in effective learning that moves people to action. Welcome to the conversation!
